| Former Detroit Tigers First Baseman Dave Bergman visited our CMNtv studio in June to appear as a guest on the series From Glory Days. Bergman looked back at his career with the Tigers, including the World Championship in 1984, which took place 25 years ago this year. Hosted by best-selling author Kurt David, From Glory Days invites former athletes to discuss their transition from the sports world to the business world. Bergman's episode will air on CMNtv throughout July. Look for former Lions QB Eric Hipple to appear on the program in August. Check the Program Schedule for dates and times. |

| In June, almost 40 graduates celebrated the end of CMN's Spring '09 Video Production Workshop. After 10 weeks of training the workshops came to an end with Access Ability, a fun quiz show that tests students on their newfound knowledge of cameras, studio production and editing. There were three separate classes, with each class producing a final project. The Tuesday class produced The Complete Family. The Wednesday class produced Sketches of Michigan, and the Friday class produced On the Fly. All three programs are currently airing and will continue to air throughout July. Check the Program Schedule for dates and times.
For the first time in a long time, CMN staff won't be taking a break from training during the summer. Since the waiting list is enormous, a summer workshop will kick off with Orientation on Tuesday, July 7th at 7pm. If you're not on the waiting list, you may have to wait until our next round of workshops, slated to begin in September. |

A CMN membership offers access to program playback, modern digital television production equipment, facilities and the expertise of a willing staff. Any support you can offer helps to continue the availability of these resources in what has become a tenuous time for cable franchise fees (our main source of revenue).
Please consider making CMN one of your charitable support choices. We are glad to receive offers of equipment and props, programming sponsorship, or outright financial contributions.
